Settings

Control your app lock PIN, email and push notifications, and installing Mind Wobble on your device.

Settings is where you control how Mind Wobble behaves on your devices: an optional app lock, which emails and push notifications you receive, and installing the app. The page is split into tabs — Email, Push, Install, and Security — and most changes only take effect once you save.

App lock PIN

The Security tab holds the app lock PIN. It is optional and off by default. When you turn it on, you set a six-digit PIN and choose how long the app waits after inactivity before it asks for the PIN again. This adds a quick local barrier on a shared or unattended device.

If you ever forget the PIN, you are not locked out: recovery always works through your normal login, so you can sign in again and regain access without contacting support. To change or disable the PIN later, you may be asked to enter your current one first. The PIN is a setting on each device, so enabling it on one device does not enable it everywhere.

Email notifications

The Email tab decides which optional emails Mind Wobble can send. In-app notifications always appear regardless of these switches.

A master Email notifications switch turns optional email on or off. Beneath it you can choose individual categories:

  • Coaching emails — when a coaching insight is worth checking in on.
  • Reminder emails — gentle nudges for things like journaling or mood check-ins.
  • Support ticket emails — when the support team replies to or updates a ticket.

A separate Newsletter switch controls Mind Wobble updates, tips, and optional marketing emails. It is independent of the master switch.

Push notifications (this device)

The Push tab controls push notifications for the device you are currently using. These settings apply only to this browser or installed app, so each device you use is configured on its own.

After enabling push, you can choose which categories this device receives — coaching, reminder, and support ticket pushes — and the page tells you whether your browser has granted permission, so you can request it if needed.

Installing the app

The Install tab appears when your device can install Mind Wobble to its home screen for quicker access. For the full, step-by-step walkthrough on each platform, see the Install App guide rather than repeating it here.

Privacy and consents

Your privacy consents and the option to download your data are not on this page — they live on the Privacy tab of your Profile. That is where you can review the Terms, Privacy Policy, and health-data consent you have accepted, or withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent blocks app access until you accept again; it does not cancel billing or delete your account on its own. See Cancelling Your Account if you want to stop your subscription or close your account.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between email and push notifications?

Email notifications arrive in your inbox and are set once for your account. Push notifications appear on a single device and are set per device, so you might enable them on your phone but not your laptop. In-app notifications are separate again and always appear inside Mind Wobble.

Why does the Install tab not show for me?

Installing depends on your browser and device. If Mind Wobble is already installed, or your browser does not support installing it, the tab does not appear. The Install App guide explains the options for each platform.

What do the notifications themselves do?

These settings choose how messages reach you. To understand the in-app notifications you receive and how to work through them, see the Notifications guide.
